About the Mandir
Where a promise is kept in stone
The Ram Mandir rises on the banks of the Saryu, built in the Nagara style with pink sandstone from Bansi Pahadpur. Its five shikharas and 161-foot main tower carry the memory of generations into a single sacred silhouette.
Inside, the garbhagriha holds Ram Lalla — the child form of Shri Ram — approached through the Singh Dwar, courtyards, galleries, and halls of carved stone and wood.

Time immemorial
The sacred ground is revered as the birthplace of Shri Ram, held dear across ages of devotion.
1949
Idols of Ram Lalla appear inside the structure, beginning a long vigil of faith and prayer.
2019
The Supreme Court awards the land for the temple and a trust — Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra — is formed.
2024
The Pran Pratishtha on 22 January consecrates Ram Lalla within the grand new sanctum.
